How PLAB maps to the MLA
PLAB 1 meets the requirements for the MLA Applied Knowledge Test.
PLAB 2 meets the requirements for the MLA Clinical and Professional Skills Assessment.
MedMinds Prep now has a version-aware mapping layer for the GMC Medical Licensing Assessment content map that applies from September 2026. We only label individual questions, stations or papers as mapped after their exact content ID has been verified against the published blueprint.

Version control
The GMC describes the MLA content map as a live document. MedMinds records the effective blueprint version and source URL with each mapping so future revisions can be audited and remapped instead of silently inheriting an outdated label.
