MedMinds Learning Centre

Privacy Policy

Effective: 7 September 2026

This policy explains how MedMinds Learning Centre collects, uses, stores and shares personal information across our learning, exam-preparation, payment and support services.

1. Information we collect

We may collect account information such as your name, email address, phone number, profession, learning activity, progress, quiz and OSCE activity, support messages, payment references, subscription status, device/browser information and privacy preferences. We do not need your card or mobile-money PIN and you should never send those credentials to us.

2. Why we use it

We use personal information to create and secure accounts, provide QBank, Theory, OSCE, Interactive Notes and other learning services, maintain progress, process and reconcile payments, prevent abuse, provide support, send service messages, improve product quality and meet legitimate business, accounting and legal obligations.

3. Payments and service providers

Payments may be handled by providers such as Sampay for Zambia and Whop for international checkout. We may also use hosting, database, authentication, email, AI and analytics providers where necessary to operate MedMinds. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices. MedMinds does not grant paid access based only on a browser redirect; payment status is verified server-side.

4. AI features

When you use AI-supported marking, simulation or assistance, the text, images, transcripts or answers you submit may be sent to an AI service solely to generate the requested feature. Do not submit patient-identifying information, confidential records or information you are not authorised to share.

5. Cookies and tracking

Essential storage is used for authentication, security, subscriptions and privacy preferences. Non-essential analytics or marketing tools are disabled until you choose to allow them through our consent manager. You can change your choice at any time from Cookie preferences.

6. Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, including account operation, learning records, fraud prevention, financial reconciliation, dispute handling and legal or regulatory obligations. Some transaction records may need to be retained even after an account-deletion request.

7. Your choices and rights

You can use the Privacy Centre to download a copy of core account data and submit an account-deletion request. You may also ask us to correct information, object to certain processing or raise a privacy concern. Requests may require identity verification and may be limited where retention is required by law, security or accounting obligations.

8. Security and international processing

We use technical and organisational safeguards intended to protect account and payment data. Because our infrastructure and service providers may operate in different countries, information may be processed outside your home country subject to the safeguards and contractual arrangements available to us.

9. Contact

Privacy questions and requests can be sent to admin@medmindslc.online.

This document is intended to describe MedMinds’ current product practices. Applicable mandatory law and consumer rights continue to apply even if a provision here is more limited.
